Tooling has started here in Australia for the manufacturing of our ~1000L Type IV H2 pressure vessels.
They will hold ~24 kg of compressed hydrogen at 350 Bar.
The 450kg (990 lb) aluminium block (810mm diameter) is machined on our Okuma 5-axis CNC machine to make the dome end.
That’s a lot of chips!
